1933: PADDLE TENNIS BEGINS AT MANURSING

Special screens were erected on the existing tennis courts to create the Paddle Courts in 1933. The Club became a founding member of the American Paddle Tennis Association in 1935, and our tradition of outstanding paddle continues today.

Sunfish Sailing Regattas were a popular site at Manursing Island during the seventies.
